Episencial products are naturally fresh for about 2 years and preserved with a patented botanical blend that uses glycerol caprylate (made from grapeseed, palm nut or coconut) combined with natural fruit esters like the acid from sodium anisate (related to licorice) to safely protect the products from fungus and bacteria. Episencial never uses parabens, phenoxyethanol, or other unhealthy chemical preservatives that may act like estrogens in the body or donate toxins such as formaldehyde, and 1-4 dioxane.

**If you are using cloth diapers, you will need to put down a barrier like our liners or a microfiber insert to protect your diaper.  This balm contains zinc oxide and will coat your diapers if you don't use a barrier.  If you would prefer not using a barrier, we suggest the Soothing Cream which works wonderfully on diaper rash.

What about Alaska, Hawaii or PO Boxes? We currently do not ship outside the U.S.A. For items shipping to Alaska, Hawaii or PO Boxes, your items will ship USPS. For items that are not oversized, you will be charged the Standard Shipping Rate. Free Shipping and expedited shipping is not an option to these areas.
