Mattress Styles:

The "Classic" line: mattresses have a clean white finish, are waterproof with a food-grade polyethylene finish (an environmentally friendly plastic that is used throughout the food packaging industry for its purity and non-toxic properties), have a dust mite barrier to help prevent allergies and organic cotton filling (naturally fire retardant and hypoallergenic).
The "Ultra" line: just like the Classic, except they have a natural finish and their waterproofed surface is blended with organic cotton for a softer and more breathable finish.

Innerspring Construction:

All Naturepedic mattresses feature a heavy-duty orthopedic innerspring and firm flat surface provide ideal support in accordance with pediatrician and Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) firmness recommendations.

The 150-coil innerspring provides a firm surface, complete with a heavy wire border that forms the perimeter of the mattress. The border wire is attached to the outermost coils, providing shape and form for the mattress.
252-coil innserspring also has a center support to help the mattress resist wear over time.

Binding Styles:

"Original" mattresses have traditional binding, with a decorative trim along the edge of the mattress and rounded edges designed to fit snugly in standard size cribs.
"Seamless" mattresses have waterproof edges and seams, preventing moisture penetration for a more hygienic design. No seepage of fluids or entry points for dust mites, and square corners for the tightest fit in your crib.

Other Options:

Dual Firmness mattresses are firmer on one side, for extra infant safety; the reverse side is softer for more toddler comfort.
2-in-1 mattresses are firmer and waterproof on one side, quilted cotton on the other for the most luxurious and comfortable feel for toddlers.
