The steady and stable absorption characteristics of hemp works best behind the fast absorbing power of the microfiber terry soaker of Thirsties Fab Fitteds and Duo Diaper. Our experience has proven that the a combination of microfiber terry and hemp provides the very best absorption capabilities with the least amount of bulk.
Thirsties Hemp Inserts add a tremendous amount of additional absorption capabilities to your existing cloth diapering system yet adds only the thickness of two stacked nickels! Made from 6 layers of remarkably soft hemp & cotton blend knit jersey, you will find that these are exactly what your baby needs to sleep comfortably through the night without leaks.
By the way...did you know that Thirsties' new hemp jersey is like no other on the market? We (finally) found a knitter right here in the USA to custom knit the hemp textile to our specifications. You will find this hemp is thicker, softer, and holds-up better than any other on the market.
Adding an additional Thirsties Hemp Insert into a Thirsties Duo Diaper is simple. Stack the Hemp Insert with the Duo Insert that came with your diaper on top of one another. Stuff the sleeve of the diaper with the microfiber terry portion on top. This combination is very absorbent yet pretty trim fitting and is perfect for an overnight solution.
When adding to Thirsties Duo Fab Fitted diapers, tuck the insert into your Thirsties Diaper Cover or Duo Wrap. Wrap and fasten your fitted diaper around baby first and then add the insert and cover.
Care & Use
Prewash on cold.
Wash on hot or warm.
Rinse twice.
Hang to dry or dry in the dryer.
Please note...Thirsties Hemp products need to be washed and dried at least three times before use to rid the fibers of the natural oils. This is done separately from your other diapering products for the first 3 washes. Inserts will be fully primed and at their maximum absorbency after 8 wash cycles.

*Some items that ship direct from the manufacturer are not eligible. Items weighing over 20 lbs. or large boxes are not eligible for overnight or second day shipping. Typically this includes items such as furniture and strollers. If you would like expedited service on a large item, please call for a quote.
Do you ship outside the U.S.A?
What about Alaska, Hawaii or PO Boxes? We currently do not ship outside the U.S.A. For items shipping to Alaska, Hawaii or PO Boxes, your items will ship USPS. For items that are not oversized, you will be charged the Standard Shipping Rate. Free Shipping and expedited shipping is not an option to these areas.
